I've yet to find out the truth, but I'm sure I was the result of an after prom party in the back of a Camero. My mom was pregnut with me her last two years in high school, which is why she dropped out early at 17. I was born on August the 14 here in the smelly part of Saint Joseph Missouri, The South Side. I have for the longest time been a 238er, which to this point, has yet to pay dividens or penelties, both to my happiness.
I am the oldest of two children. My mother and step dad married when I was two and produced my sister when I was about 5. I never really got into reading until Middle School. one of the first books I was given was an old copy of George Orwells "1984". I was in the 7th grade when I read it and it took ahold of me, so I followed that book up with "Animal Farm". Sprinkle in a few Ian Flemming books and a whole lot more Star Wars books, and that was the extent of my reading foundation.
I joined the United States Marine Corps. in 1998 as a Junior in High School, and after graduation in 1999, I was off to Boot Camp. Other than manuals, I never was afforded an oprotunity to read anything for a brief time. When I meet my Fleet Platoon commander, Bob Gieger, he set up a required reading list for the platoon. "The Communist Manifesto" by Karl Marx and Frederic Engels, "1984" again, "On Killing" by Dave Grossman, "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand, and a few other books related to combat filled my book shelves for weeks. This would be the bulk of my reading expirience until I parted ways, Honorably, with the Marine Corps.
When I came home, my first point of interest was history. Which is why I plan on seking my history degree here at Missouri Western. Roman history, European history, early American history, it didnt matter. Anything appealing, shinny and flashy, I read it. A friend of mine found away to get me into reading Mythology and Religion, which ended abruptly after reading a book called "5/5/2000" by Richard W. Noone. Needless to say, it upset me, like most religious books. Well, religion in general. Fickle.
In short, this is an overview of my reading past. I realy dont have a writting past, besides book reports in grade school, combat orders in the military, and job applications as of my exit from previous mentioned military service. I hope I have colored in the lines in a manner of explaining as best I could.
